It was a great surprise to see some people from the Latino Ministry at the meeting! They were there as translators for the first half of the meeting. They sang the songs with us and translated our testimonies and the Gospel Bridge illustration. And they'll be back tonight as well to continue to help us practice. They were SO helpful and I'm sure everyone greatly appreciated all they did.
In our specialty team meeting, we divided up the puppet team into four groups. We practiced the skit a few times in our new groups, and then we were dismissed fifteen minutes early.
Earlier I rewrote out our schedule for the week, and it looks like it's going to be a great week! We're going to be VERY busy and time is going to fly, but I know I'm going to have a blast!
I know I still have a LOT to do before I leave next Friday. I need to go shopping for a few items, really get my testimony down, make copies of my "DEATH/LIFE" cards en espaƱol for my "interactive ministry," perfect the songs, finish memorizing the verses, PACK, aaannnd I think there's more but I can't remember.
All that can at times seem overwhelming, but I did it once and I know I can get it all done. And I have a lot of motivation to work on all of it. I'm also hoping to get 90% done with both my New Testament and New Testament Archaeology classes before leaving.
